O programa real player, é um dos poucos que abrem o formato RMVB(sigla de RealMedia Variable Bitrate), que é um tipo de vídeo que ocupa muito pouco espaço, comparado aos outros.
O programa é um dos mais completos player da web, atravéz dele, dá p/ ouvir rádio, ver vídeos, jogos , e baixar tudo.
Mas voltando ao assunto,depois de ter ele instalado, quando você for ver um vídeo na internet, ou uma música de uma rádio(ex.:Rádio UOL), aparecerá a opção , Fazer download de vídeo no Real Player(se a opção não aparecer quando vc passar o mouse no vídeo, clique sobre o mesmo com o segundo botão do mouse, e aparecerá a opção de download) .
O programa é bem prático de se usar, e está em português(eu considero ele melhoer que o Windows Media Player).Eu recomendo.
